ALPHA RISE MONTHLY | OCTOBER
Family time, the Dark Rise launch, and one month until HYROX.
What’s up, Alpha Rise family!
October is here, and I’m heading into this month grateful, motivated, and with plenty on my plate. Between running the brand, coaching, training for HYROX, and making time for family, I’ve been reminded that balance takes intention.
A little time away in New Orleans
I recently took a trip to New Orleans to see family, slow down a little, and enjoy time together. When you’re constantly focused on the next goal, it’s easy to forget to appreciate what’s happening right now.
That trip was a reminder that making room for family and enjoying life can be part of chasing your goals. A meal together, a good conversation, and a change of scenery can go a long way.
Training around a busy schedule
Balancing HYROX training with coaching and growing Alpha Rise hasn’t always been easy. Some days have room for a full session. Other days require adjusting the plan and doing what I can with the time I have.
The biggest lesson? Stop waiting for the perfect week.
Put your workouts on the calendar, give yourself a realistic plan, and keep showing up. Some work is better than no work—and a busy day doesn’t have to turn into a lost week.
The Dark Rise is here—and thank you
The Dark Rise collection officially launched October 1st, and I’m proud of the response it’s received. So much thought, time, and work went into bringing this collection to life, and seeing people support it has made that effort feel worthwhile.
To everyone who ordered, shared a post, told a friend, or sent an encouraging message: thank you. Every bit of support matters when you’re building a business.
The Dark Rise represents the work that happens behind the scenes—the discipline, the late nights, and the decision to keep going. Seeing you wear it makes the collection mean even more.
HYROX: one month out
With HYROX about a month away, the countdown is getting real. My focus is on staying consistent with running, strength work, and conditioning while giving recovery the attention it needs.
I’m excited to put the preparation to the test and share this final stretch with you—the good sessions, the tough ones, and everything I learn along the way.
If you’re working toward something right now, keep stacking those days. You don’t have to feel ready every morning to keep making progress.
Austin Spotlight: Oria
This month’s Austin spotlight is Oria, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant on Barton Springs Road. Its garden setting and menu influenced by the Aegean coast and Levant make it an option for an evening spent sharing food and catching up.
Put this one on your radar when you’re making time for a date night or dinner with friends.
Milwaukee Spotlight: Carini’s Italian Restaurant
For my Milwaukee people, this month’s spotlight is Carini’s La Conca d’Oro on North Oakland Avenue. With its Sicilian identity and wood-fired pizza, it’s a spot to consider for your next Italian dinner. Make sure you order the lamb chop.
Make some room in the schedule to sit down, enjoy a meal, and spend time with your people.
Keep rising
My reminder for October: work toward what matters to you, and make time for the people who matter along the way.
Thank you for being part of Alpha Rise and supporting this next chapter.
You don’t wear Alpha Rise because you’re there. You wear it because you’re becoming it.
